There are the common risks comes with injections such as pain, bruising and swelling, sometimes infection. The rare but important risks include vascular occlusion, nodules and blindness. These are obviously very serious risks, however very rare.
If occlusion or nodules occurs, Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyalase injection- a form is enzyme. Clients are to notice their practitioner as soon as they notice any growing pain, skin discoloration, and any signs of vessel occlusion.
